FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

BOOKING & PACKAGES

How do we reserve our wedding date, and how early should we book?

Your date is reserved after the agreement is signed and the required retainer is received. We recommend booking as soon as your venue and date are confirmed. Popular Saturdays may book 12–18 months in advance.

Can we speak before booking?

Yes. We offer a complimentary consultation to discuss your wedding, music, package options, and overall vision before booking.

Can we customize a package or add upgrades later?

Yes. Photo booth upgrades, lighting, cold sparks, CO₂, lasers, live musicians, and other enhancements can be added later based on equipment availability and venue approval.

Can we add additional hours?

Yes. Additional coverage can be added before the wedding based on availability. A last-minute extension may also be possible on the wedding day.

Are you fully insured, and do you provide venue certificates?

Yes. Diamond Entertainment is fully insured and can provide a Certificate of Insurance to your venue upon request.

What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?

Retainers are non-refundable. Your wedding date may be rescheduled based on availability, but the booking, agreement, and retainer cannot be transferred to another person.

Will we know who our DJ and MC are before the wedding?

Yes. Your assigned entertainment team is confirmed before the wedding, and the important details of your event are reviewed in advance so everyone is prepared for your timeline, music, and formalities.

Can we make changes after we book?

Yes. You can continue updating your music, timeline, formalities, and event details throughout the planning process. Additional upgrades can also be added later based on availability and venue approval.

How are the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception covered?

The Classic Package includes one setup for the ceremony that is moved to the cocktail hour, plus a separate reception setup. The Signature and Ultimate Packages include three separate setups for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception.

Ceremony coverage includes lapel and handheld microphones. The Signature and Ultimate Packages include upgraded, higher-end wireless microphones. We also carry backup audio and microphone equipment.

How much time do you need for setup, and does it count toward coverage?

We generally arrive 2–3 hours before the scheduled start time. Larger production packages may require additional time. Setup, sound checks, and breakdown are included and do not reduce your contracted entertainment time.

How much space and power does your equipment require?

Requirements depend on your package, venue, and selected enhancements. Our team reviews the floor plan and coordinates equipment placement and power requirements before the wedding.

What happens if a microphone or speaker has an issue during the wedding?

We bring backup audio and microphone equipment so our team can respond quickly if an equipment issue occurs during your event.

Can you provide separate sound systems in different areas of the venue?

Yes. Depending on your package and venue layout, we can provide separate audio setups for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception so equipment does not need to be moved while guests are transitioning between spaces.

SPECIAL EFFECTS

Can cold sparks be used during the reception and the send-off?

Dancing on the Clouds creates a low-lying cloud effect around the couple during the first dance. The effect stays close to the floor and creates a clean, cinematic moment in photos and video. Venue approval is required.

CO₂ blasters create powerful bursts of cold fog above the dance floor. The effect is ideal for high-energy moments, disappears quickly, and does not leave residue.

What is included with a laser show?

Our laser packages include professional laser units, a designed laser show, haze when permitted, setup and breakdown, and a lighting operator. Haze allows the laser beams to remain visible throughout the room.
